If you have not received it, please check your spam folder first before contacting the Registration Office (contact details on this page).

Name badges and tickets
For security purposes, delegates and exhibitors must wear their name badges at all times. Entrance to the meeting rooms and the exhibition area are limited to badge holders only.
Access to the Spanish Evening on Friday 10 May is limited to badge holders who have pre-registered for this event. For registered accompanying persons a voucher will be handed out together with the badge.
Abstracts
The Book of Abstracts can be downloaded from the Academic Programme page from Sunday 5 May, 18:00 hrs. CEST. The individual abstracts can also be viewed in the Convention App.
Accreditation – CPD Points
Attendance at the ECU2022 Convention is approved by the European Academy of Chiropractic for 15 CPD hours for full programme attendance. For the Research & Education Day, 6 CPD hours have been granted.
CPD points for single day attendance are not automatically to be granted. For single day attendance delegates are requested to contact the Chair of the EAC, Igor Dijkers (eacchair@chiropractic-ecu.org) for review on an exceptional basis.
Certificate of attendance
A personal certificate of attendance stating the CPD hours will be sent to you by e-mail within 10 days after the Convention.
Cloakroom
You will find the cloakroom in the Registration Desk area. The cloak room is guarded, but please note that the ECU, the organisers and the Valencia Conference Centre cannot accept any liability for loss or damage to property.
Convention App
Registered delegates have received the instructions for downloading the Convention App on Friday 3 May. Please check your spam folder in case you haven’t received it. Make sure to install it, as it contains all the needed information! A printed programme book will not be provided.
Convention Language
The Convention language is English.
Dress Code
The dress code during the entire meeting is ‘smart casual’. For the Spanish Evening, please bring a jumper, cardigan or shawl, as it might be chilly later in the evening.
Electricity
You will find type F electrical plugs in Spain. This plug has two round pins, spaced about 2 cm apart, and is the same as those used in many countries in Continental Europe. The electricity network operates at 230 Volts. If the standard voltage in your country is in the range of 100 V – 127 V (as is in the US, Canada and most South American countries), you need a voltage converter and/or a combined power plug adapter/voltage converter.
Evaluation
You are kindly requested to rate each session you attended via the ‘Interactive’ tab in the Convention app. You will find this when you tap on the session, below ‘Notes’. In addition, we kindly ask you complete the Evaluation form. See under ‘More’.
Internet
Free wireless internet is available throughout the Valencia Conference Centre. Please note that this connection ONLY supports roaming and browsing on mobile phones, tablets/iPads etc.
Mobile telephones
Mobile phones must be switched off or set to silent, non-vibrate mode when delegates are in the meeting rooms.
Photographing & filming
Filming of lectures is not allowed. When taking pictures, please bear the privacy of other delegates in mind.
The ECU may have some plenary sessions filmed, with the focus on the speakers and their presentations. The ECU photographer will take photos throughout the Convention and the Spanish Evening. If you do not want your photo to be taken, please inform the ECU photographer.
The ECU may publish photos/ videos on their website and/or on social media. You have the right to withdraw consent for this at any time via the online contact form on the ECU website https://www.chiropractic-ecu.org/contact-us/
Programme changes
The organisers reserve the right to adjust or change the programme as necessary.
Smoking Policy
Smoking is not permitted in the convention venue, public buildings, public transportation and in all restaurants.
Tipping
Tipping in restaurants, taxis and hotels is not mandatory but highly appreciated. A common tip is 10% for restaurants or taxis. Note that in taxis for suitcases, a supplement will be automatically added to the charge for the ride. In hotels, porters are generally tipped 1 euro per bag.

Liability and insurance / disclaimer
The ECU and Your Conference Support, its Executive Council members, officers, agents and employees (hereafter referred to as: the organisers) accept no liability for personal injuries or loss, of any nature whatsoever, or for loss or damage to property either during or as a result of the ECU2024 Convention.
Delegates are advised to arrange adequate travel, health, and other insurance before they leave their home country. Participation is completely at the participant’s own risk. The organisers will not be liable and will not compensate for any damage incurred to participants and/or accompanying persons during the meeting. The organisers are hereby released from all claims.
